Samsung Galaxy Ring Launch Delayed: Possibly Late 2024 or Early 2025
Samsung Galaxy Ring Release Date Shifts: Launch May Happen in Late 2024 or Early 2025
Rumors have been swirling about the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Ring, which was recently spotted in code strings within the Galaxy Wearable app, hinting at a January 2024 launch. However, a recent report from South Korean outlet The Elec suggests that the Galaxy Ring’s debut might be pushed back to late 2024 or early 2025.
According to The Elec, Samsung intends to unveil the Galaxy Ring alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, expected in August, September, or October 2024. Still, an early 2025 launch remains a possibility.
This potential delay is attributed to Samsung’s consideration of seeking medical approval for the device, requiring regulatory clearance for various sensors, such as a heart rate sensor. If this is the case, the launch could be further postponed. Product development usually spans seven to eight months, with medical approval adding an extra 10 to 12 months to the timeline, making a 2025 launch more likely.
